New CCS Changes from January 2026 – The 3-Day Guarantee

As a CCS-approved provider, Panda Early Learning helps families access these benefits so children can enjoy consistent, high-quality early education.

From January 2026, families accessing the Child Care Subsidy will benefit from updated Government arrangements designed to improve access to early learning.

Under these changes, eligible families will have a guaranteed minimum level of subsidised care each week, even if their work or study circumstances change. Families with higher activity levels may receive additional subsidised hours.

To receive the subsidy, standard CCS eligibility conditions apply, including income limits and immunisation requirements.

What Is the Child Care Subsidy?

The Child Care Subsidy is a Government payment designed to assist families with the cost of approved childcare. It replaced the previous Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate, creating a simpler and more streamlined system.

The subsidy is applied directly to your childcare fees, meaning you only pay the remaining gap amount.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to receive up to 90% off your childcare fees, significantly reducing your out-of-pocket costs.
